World Earth Day was Celebrated at GGSCW-26

Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh, held Farewell on April 18, 2019 to bid goodbye to its final-year students. An enthralling show was arranged for the students from all streams, to participate in and showcase their talents. A cultural extravaganza of Punjabi, Afghani, Manipuri and Western performances was presented by the juniors for their seniors and faculty members.
Dr. Jatinder Kaur, Principal of the College, wished the outgoing students the very best in all walks of life and also reminded them of their responsibilities towards society and nation at large.
 
 

Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh, held Hostel Farewell on April 18, 2019 to bid goodbye to its final-year students. A riveting show was put on by the hostellers wherein they showcased their multifarious talents. A plethora of cultural performances such as Giddha, Bhangra, Manipuri Folk Dance, Classical Dance, Western Dance, etc. was presented by the juniors for their seniors.

Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, Vice Principal of the College, wished the outgoing students success in all their future endeavours.

The College Prospectus of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh for the Session 2019-20 was released by the College Principal, Dr Jatinder Kaur on May 17, 2019. The Prospectus is available on College Website, admission.ggscw.ac.in  for Online Admission to Non-Centralised courses,   (BA, MA-English, MA-Sociology, MA-Economics and M.Sc-IT) for the coming Session.

 

Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh held its Annual Prize Distribution Function in Mata Ganga Auditorium on April 16, 2019. Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, Dean College Development Council, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the Honourable Chief Guest for the occasion. S. Gurdev Singh, President and S. Kulbir Singh, Vice President, Sikh Educational Society also graced the occasion with their presence. The function commenced on an auspicious note with the recital of the College Shabad. The Principal, Dr Jatinder Kaur delivered the welcome address and presented the Annual Report of the College, highlighting the achievements of the students in academics, sports and cultural activities.
